Crepis vesicaria - the beaked hawk's-beard - is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family, native to the eastern and southern Europe and naturalized in scattered locations in North America, growing on hillsides and in sandy clearings. It is an annual, biennial, or perennial herb up to 120 cm (48 inches or 4 feet) tall, with a large underground caudex, and as many as 20 yellow flower heads.
